The Hessische Kulturstiftung (Hessian Cultural Foundation) is a nonprofit foundation that supports nonprofit arts and cultural institutions throughout the German state of Hesse. It funds exhibitions, acquisitions, and publications by Hessian museums and art associations. Since 1992 it has run an international travel and residency stipend program for visual artists, providing studios in London, New York City, Paris, and Istanbul. The foundation also publishes maecenas, a quarterly magazine covering its funded projects and stipend recipients.
