Jentel Artist Residency

The Jentel Artist Residency is an artist residency program located in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains near Sheridan, Wyoming. It offers visual artists, writers, and composers dedicated time and private studio space to focus on their creative development, free from everyday distractions. Now in its 25th year, Jentel provides three-week residencies from mid-January through early December, hosting an average of six artists at a time. Its campus includes newly built and renovated structures set amid the historic Lower Piney Creek Valley, with each resident given a private room, shared living space, and a separate studio.
