The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee is a welcoming and inclusive community organization that enriches Jewish life throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. Its mission is to strengthen Jewish life and identity in the community, provide for Jewish people in need, and promote support for Israel. It offers programs for adults, teens, youth and newcomers, including a summer day camp, and runs volunteer, advocacy and anti-antisemitism efforts. The Federation is based on the Greenspon Campus for Jewish Life, which includes the Ora event center, and publishes the Jewish News to local homes and distribution sites. It also hosts a calendar of speakers, authors and community events, and raises funds for Israel and local needs.
