Kansas state agency promoting and expanding the state's creative industries and arts and culture.
The Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission (KCAIC) is a state arts commission dedicated to promoting, supporting and expanding Kansas' creative industries and enriching communities through arts and culture. It offers a range of programs and services that support cultural programming across the state and strengthen the role of the arts in education, community service, workforce development and quality of life. The commission administers grants for artists and organizations through a dedicated grant portal, holds regular office hours for applicants, and maintains rosters of Kansas artists. It also provides resources such as a map of the state's arts councils and arts centers, a mural-making guide, and support for filming projects in Kansas. The commission operates in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
