The Kayenta Arts Foundation was incorporated in 2011 and is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. Its mission is to develop and create an environment that fosters artistic endeavors for educational and cultural enrichment. It presents an annual performing arts season, including classical music, lectures, documentary screenings, community events and a new play lab at the Center for the Arts at Kayenta.
The foundation also produces festivals such as Art In Kayenta, the Street Painting Festival and the Kayenta Native Arts Market, and hosts guest artist exhibitions. It offers memberships and gift cards to support its work.
