The Kharkiv Professional College of Technologies and Design trains junior professional bachelors on state-funded and contract places. Its specialties include design (graphic design, hairdressing art and decorative cosmetics), light industry technologies (garment modelling, sewing production, fabric and knitwear design), entrepreneurship and trade, ecology, accounting, machine building and chemical technologies.
Graduates can continue their studies on shortened curricula at universities and academies in Kharkiv and other regions of Ukraine. Students regularly take part in international, national and regional professional skill and fashion design competitions, and the college counts the internationally known fashion designer André Tan among its alumni.
The college also runs preparatory courses for Ukrainian and foreign applicants, as well as short courses in hairdressing, tailoring, clothing design, make-up, nail aesthetics, drawing, painting and graphics.
