The King William Fair is an annual neighborhood fair held on the final Saturday of Fiesta Week in San Antonio's King William Historic District, the oldest residential historic district in Texas. It is hosted by the King William Association, a non-profit chartered in 1967, and first took place in 1968. It has grown from a one-block arts exhibit into a major Fiesta San Antonio event with a parade, art and craft vendors, food and beverage, entertainment and a children's area. Hundreds of volunteers run the fair, and its proceeds support the arts, education and community improvements. The Association has given close to $850,000 in grants and scholarships since 2001, and the money also funds free park concerts, art exhibitions, public park improvements and historic property research.
