Kotti-Shop is an experimental nonprofit art and project space that has been on the ground floor of the Neues Kreuzberger Zentrum at Kottbusser Tor in Berlin since 2008. It regularly presents exhibitions by international artists, performances, readings, experimental concerts and artistic film screenings, along with long-running series such as Sentimental Punk. The space has a strong bond with its neighbourhood. It runs collage, writing, printing and drawing workshops, works continuously with the children of the Neues Kreuzberger Zentrum, and gives residents an equal forum through artistic formats. Beyond its own rooms, it is the starting point for collaborative projects through the TRANSFORM platform and the Super. Future art lab, including school project weeks, drawing festivals and participatory art projects in other project spaces. In 2015 the art association Assemblage e.V. grew out of it to support projects in visual, media and participatory art and to publish its own work.
