Empowering women in vulnerable situations through work, human formation, and family programs.
La Casita Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2008 with the mission of empowering women in vulnerable situations through what they call 'Integral Formation.' Their programs focus on three pillars: work, human formation, and family, providing women with the tools and skills needed to live with dignity. Over 17 years, the foundation has helped more than 5,000 women, delivering an annual average of 500 hours of training workshops with the support of over 100 volunteers. The foundation also provides social services including meals, and is managed entirely by volunteers.
