Vermont nonprofit presenting a summer chamber music festival, recitals, and youth music education.
The Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival brings together world-class musicians, audiences, and students for a nine-day summer festival in the Burlington, Vermont region. Beyond its main summer concert series, the festival offers recitals, master classes, an Inside Pitch lecture series led by Composer-in-Residence David Serkin Ludwig, a Young Composer Seminar, and other educational and community engagement events. Founded by violinist Soovin Kim, with Gloria Chien joining as Co-Artistic Director in 2017, the organization is dedicated to inspiring and nurturing a lifelong appreciation for classical chamber music. Its ONE Strings program, now in its 11th year, provides strings instruction to elementary students at a Burlington public school.
