Lanesboro Arts

Lanesboro Arts is a community-centered arts organization based in Lanesboro, Minnesota, dedicated to fostering artistic engagement in a rural context. Since 2001, its Early Career Artist Residency Program has welcomed artists of all disciplines to live, work, and create within the greater Lanesboro community. Supported by the Jerome Foundation, the program awards two to three residencies per year to early career artists whose projects activate local people and places while instigating positive change. Lanesboro Arts emphasizes place-based, community-engaged practice, encouraging artists to explore how their work can both serve and be informed by rural community life.
