Lapse is an organization in Barcelona, Spain, that describes itself as shared spaces for art and critical thinking. It runs ILLAPSE, its artist residency program, which gives artists and other contemporary art professionals a workspace within Lapse's own facilities.
Residents share common areas with other artists and are encouraged to present their work publicly. The program welcomes a wide range of media and contemporary practices, with particular interest in interdisciplinary experimentation and the exchange of knowledge across fields and cultures.
