The Levitt Family Foundation is a national social impact funder working at the intersection of music, public space and community building. Through grantmaking and research, it helps local nonprofits present free, live outdoor concerts that strengthen the social fabric of communities and activate underused public spaces. The Foundation supports over 1,000 free concerts a year in more than 100 towns and cities across the United States, through permanent Levitt venues and Levitt music series. It has pledged to spend down its assets of $150 million over two decades to accelerate this support, and it offers grantees toolkits, trainings and peer connections alongside funding.
