Liebermann Pottery has been handcrafting tableware, dinnerware and ceramic tiles in the Bernard Leach tradition since the 1950s. Its collection spans contemporary garden planters and vases, large wood-fired Asian urns, and a showcase of Southern African ceramic artists. The pottery runs galleries in Johannesburg, in the historic Gas Works near Melville, and in Cape Town on an old Cape farm on Kommetjie Main Road. Both carry a large selection of bonsai planters, and the courtyard sells seconds at half price. It is open seven days a week, offers event hire and wholesale pricing, and can arrange delivery across Southern Africa.
