A two-week art residency in Sardinia guided by regenerative, anthropologically-rooted group practice.
Limen is a two-week art residency based in Sardinia, dedicated to artists and researchers who need sustained, uninterrupted time to think, create, and be transformed by place. Residents work independently in their own practice while also engaging in group sessions rooted in regenerative practices, facilitated by artist, visual anthropologist, and filmmaker Linda Paganelli. The residency's approach draws on anthropological methods to open up collective and individual memory as material for the work, read through an explicitly political and queer lens attentive to visibility, erasure, and power. Alongside studio space and accommodation, Limen offers a full-board vegetarian and vegan meal plan rooted in Sardinian culinary tradition.
