Malamegi Lab

About

Malamegi Lab runs the Malamegi Lab Art Award, an international contemporary art competition open to artists working in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, mixed media, digital art and video. Each edition selects 12 finalists who compete for several prizes and show their work in a collective exhibition with a catalogue. The prizes include the creation of a new collection with Malamegi, a monographic book, an acquisition of one finalist's artwork for the lab's private collection, and a cash prize for artistic research. The lab presents the award as a platform for emerging artists to establish themselves and connect with the contemporary art world.
