Manayunk Development Corporation

About

The Manayunk Development Corporation is a nonprofit formed in 1992 with a business development mission and a cooperating community development mission. It manages, promotes and supports the positive development of the Manayunk business district in Philadelphia. It works alongside the Manayunk Special Services District, which keeps the district clean, safe and well maintained. Together they run a business directory, an associate membership program, and support for people opening or working in businesses in Manayunk. The organization also presents a year-round calendar of neighborhood events and publishes Manayunk Magazine, a quarterly print magazine about local businesses and community members. It cooperates with civic and community groups on programming and physical improvement projects of interest to both businesses and residents.
