Mark DeGarmo Dance is a nonprofit dance institution and charity whose work centers on using dance to engage and empower people. Its programs fall into two areas, performance and education, and include the online Global Dance Circle for Social Change and the Virtual Salon Performance Series for Social Change.
Its education work reaches students in New York City public schools. The organization is supported in part by public funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, as well as by private funds from The Friends of Mark DeGarmo Dance.
