The Masur Museum of Art is an art museum in Monroe, Louisiana, described as one of the city's important cultural landmarks. It began building its collection in 1963 with the first Annual Juried Competition, and it shares that collection with the public through current, upcoming and past exhibitions. The Annual Juried Competition, open to all media and styles, is its longest-running tradition. It draws roughly 1,000 to 1,500 submissions from artists across the United States each year. The museum also offers a store, a membership program and donations to support its work.
