Miami Art Society

Miami Art Society is a contemporary art gallery, event space, residency, artist studio and innovation space in Miami focused on exhibiting, cultivating and supporting local artists across multiple disciplinary realms in the industry across South Florida. Founded in 2019 by curator J.P. Sanchez, M.A.S. aims to challenge traditional gallery structures and foster a unique relationship between artists and gallerists. By creating an innovative programming that is transparent, inclusive, communal and local, it has lent its support and curation to a multitude of local entities and programs that strive to support the local art communities from an academic, conceptual, institutional and graffiti perspective while encompassing all the creative communities the city offers. Since its founding, we have curated dozens of murals, conceptualized and build massive installations across the city and for a multitude of events, have curated over 100 exhibits, held concerts and musical performances, and hosted a myriad of artists’ residencies.
