MidAmerica Pastel Society (MAPS) brings together artists from beginners to professionals who share a passion for creating artwork in soft pastel. Members meet in person or via Zoom to learn from, inspire and support one another, with programs often featuring demos by nationally known pastel artists to help develop skills and technique.
Throughout the year MAPS offers members opportunities to exhibit their work in galleries, including its own website gallery, provides workshops, and encourages participation in plein air and studio paint-in events as well as local and national juried exhibitions.
