Mundelein, Illinois' village government, running public art and culture through its Arts Commission.
The Village of Mundelein, Illinois, is the municipal government serving the Mundelein community. Its Arts Commission, a ten-member board appointed by the Mayor, oversees the Village's public art and cultural programming, including murals, public sculptures, an annual juried art exhibition, and community writing and photography contests. The Commission works with local artists, businesses, and volunteers to install public artworks throughout Downtown Mundelein and other village spaces. It also publishes an annual literary collection, "Mundelein Writes," featuring work from residents of Lake County.
