A Pacific Northwest museum celebrating glass art through exhibitions, artist residencies, and live glassblowing.
Museum of Glass is a cultural institution in the Pacific Northwest dedicated to igniting creativity, fueling discovery, and enriching lives through glass and glassmaking. Founded nearly 25 years ago, it became a collecting institution in 2007 and has since built a significant collection of works by artists who have completed residencies in its Hot Shop, alongside pieces documenting the Studio Glass movement and contemporary and historic glass. The Museum operates a Hot Shop with live glassblowing demonstrations, a Visiting Artist Residency Program that brings artists from around the world to create new work, and an Education Studio offering hands-on workshops. It is currently undertaking a major capital renovation project, including a new immersive gallery for a 175-work collection gifted by glass maestro Lino Tagliapietra.
