Musikene

Musikene offers degree programs (grado) and official master's programs in music, along with a course in Basque traditional music. It also has a research area and runs open days for prospective students and calls for teaching staff. The school runs its own ensembles, including the Musikene Orkestra Sinfonikoa, the Banda Sinfonika, the Big Band and the MSKN Master Ensemble. They perform in concert alongside guest artists, and the school also hosts masterclasses, organ recitals and concerts organized with partners such as Musikagileak. Its programming has included a residency by the London Sinfonietta and a special program marking its 25th anniversary.
