The National Cornbread Festival is an annual celebration of cornbread, held in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, about 30 miles west of Chattanooga. It takes place over a weekend each April and is now in its 29th year. The festival offers music, a cornbread cook-off, family events such as a 5K and a fondo, and a juried arts and crafts market. Parking is free, with shuttles and traffic control for visitors, and the event runs rain or shine. It also has an official mobile app for planning the weekend.
