New Media Film Festival

New Media Film Festival® is a Los Angeles-based film festival founded in 2009 with a mandate to honor stories worth telling across emerging formats and platforms. The festival champions creators working in AI-generated film, holographic comics, web series, digital comics, VR, and other cutting-edge storytelling mediums. Its judges include industry leaders from Marvel, HBO, BBC, PBS, the Emmys, and the Grammys, and it has honored celebrities such as Jeff Bridges, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ray Bradbury. Known for programming firsts — including AI-generated film, touch-rotation storytelling, and NFT categories — the festival positions itself at the intersection of technology and narrative. It emphasizes inclusivity and creator-first values, with no pay-to-play submissions.
