A nonprofit advancing the ceramic arts through education, exhibitions, and artist services.
Northern Clay Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advances the ceramic arts for artists, learners, and the community through education, exhibitions, and artist services. It offers a wide range of in-person classes and workshops taught by both established and new teaching artists, and presents around ten annual exhibitions of contemporary ceramic work by regional, national, and international artists across two gallery spaces. The organization supports ceramic artists of all career stages by providing studio space and managing grant and residency programs, and it operates a Sales Gallery featuring work by regional and nationally recognized artists. Through community outreach programs like ClayToGo and ART@HAND, it brings hands-on clay experiences to schools, libraries, senior centers, and other community sites.
