Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association

Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association operates the Athenaeum Gallery, a nonprofit exhibition space in Alexandria, Virginia. The gallery presents visual art by artists living or working in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region, featuring both shows curated by its Gallery Director and exhibitions proposed by outside artists and curators. Beyond exhibitions, it hosts public programs such as artist talks, workshops, and concerts, and its visual arts program receives support, in part, from an Arts Program grant from the City of Alexandria.
