Ohio Arts Council

The Ohio Arts Council is the state government agency that funds and supports the arts across Ohio. It administers grant programs for individual artists and arts organizations, publishes a statewide grants calendar, and runs the Ohio Artist Registry, the Ohio Teaching Artist Roster, and the Folk & Traditional Arts program. The Council operates the Riffe Gallery, exhibiting the work of Ohio artists, and coordinates Poetry Out Loud, a national poetry recitation program for students. It also tracks Ohio arts education data and shares statewide cultural events through the Arts in Ohio online database.
