One Columbia for Arts and Culture

About

One Columbia for Arts and Culture supports the creative community of Columbia, South Carolina, the state capital. It maintains a public art finder and walking tours of the city's murals and sculpture, and it commissions new work such as the Cultural Layers project, which preserves and celebrates community stories through visual art. It runs a community event calendar of performances, exhibits and classes, and an artist directory that connects local creators with the public. It also offers artist resources, including busking permit information for street performers, and works with partners such as property owners and arts venues on mural projects.
