Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod

The Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod is a membership society that builds a community of pastel artists and sets standards of excellence through education. It supports members' professional growth and works to show the public and gallery owners the permanence, versatility and value of pastel. The society offers juried shows and exhibitions devoted to pastels, including an annual members' show, the For Pastels Only exhibition and a biennial Signature Member exhibition. It also runs master and winter workshops and awards the Stone Scholarship and a Young Artist Scholarship. Membership is open to new, experienced and professional pastel artists as well as interested supporters, with a Signature level that is juried. The society is marking its 30th anniversary.
