The Pastel Society of South Carolina is a membership society dedicated to promoting the medium of pastel. It hosts educational meetings, in person and over Zoom, where nationally known artists teach and demonstrate, and it sponsors workshops for members.
Members can enter their work in the society's exhibitions twice a year, including an international open online exhibition that also accepts non-members. The society belongs to the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), and its members share plein air outings and other gatherings with fellow pastel artists.
