The Pastel Guild of Europe (PGE) was founded in 2009 by a group of European artists to celebrate dry pastel. It is a primarily internet-based community of over 200 members representing 38 countries, built to connect artists and support their friendships and professional growth.
Members take part in a monthly themed competition called Get Dusty, and the guild publishes The Scribbler, an online pastel magazine. It also hosts an international online pastel competition and runs a member gallery.
The guild arranges real-life painting weekends and workshops for members in countries such as Germany, Finland and the Netherlands. It is a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS).
