Merit-based fellowship funding for immigrants and children of immigrants pursuing graduate study.
The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans provides merit-based funding for immigrants and children of immigrants who are poised to make significant contributions to American society, culture, and academia. Each year the fellowship selects 30 Fellows through a free, merit-based process that emphasizes creativity, originality, initiative, and sustained accomplishment, with each receiving up to $90,000 in financial support over two years. Fellows join a lifelong community that now numbers 865 people representing 103 countries of heritage. Alumni have gone on to careers in medicine, science, law, policy, technology, business, government, non-profits, and the arts.
