Photography Network

Photography Network is a professional association dedicated to fostering discussion, research, and new approaches to the study and practice of photography in its relation to art, culture, society, and history. It serves photographers, historians, and curators through a membership model that provides access to syllabi, grants, online resources, and funding for research and making. The organization hosts virtual symposia, book talks, and sponsored sessions at major conferences such as the College Art Association. Photography Network also runs an annual book prize honoring innovation in photography scholarship, expression, and dissemination, and maintains a listserv for dialog on current concerns in the field.
