Pikes Peak Pastel Society

Pikes Peak Pastel Society is a not-for-profit association of pastel artists based in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo area. Its mission is to promote, educate and encourage artistic excellence in soft pastel painting among its members within the community. The society offers educational workshops, painting demonstrations, plein aire paint-outs, and field trips to art exhibits and museums as part of its member meetings and events. It holds two pastel exhibitions annually, one members-only show and one national juried exhibition, and is a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS).
