The Place

The Place is a leading contemporary dance venue in London, home to the London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS). It hosts performances, classes and training programmes for dancers of all ages and abilities, ranging from weekly community classes to a pre-vocational Centre for Advanced Training for young people. The organisation supports artists from around the world in creating and touring new dance work, including commissioning initiatives such as the Stomping Ground programme.
