Placerville Arts Association

Placerville Arts Association (PAA) promotes the creative work of its members, provides opportunities for artists to share ideas, and engages public interest through a variety of visual art events. Founded in the early 1960s, it is the oldest non-profit art group in El Dorado County, California, in continuous operation ever since. Its membership includes both practicing artists and patrons of the arts. Beyond exhibitions and member shows, PAA runs an Outreach Program that provides funding and supplies to support community visual arts, and organizes recurring events such as the Mother Lode Art Exhibition and an annual Artists Open Studio Tour.
