Non-profit Jewish community centre in Toronto offering fitness, aquatics, arts, theatre and family programs.
The Prosserman JCC is a non-profit community hub dedicated to enriching Jewish life through shared experiences, with a focus on inclusivity, kindness and respect. Its programs cover fitness, aquatics, sports, arts, camps and early childhood education for members and families of all ages. Its Sherman Campus includes the 300+ seat Leah Posluns Theatre and a 300-seat multi-purpose theatre, and the centre is the future home of the Jewish Museum of Canada and the renewed Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre. The organization traces its roots to the Toronto Y.M.-Y.W.H.A. (1930) and the Bathurst Jewish Community Centre (1961), and its current complex opened in 2021.
