Toronto's collectively run gallery, exhibiting established and emerging contemporary artists since 1990.
The Red Head Gallery is a professional artists’ collective of seventeen member artists, established in 1990 and based in Toronto. It exhibits the work of established and emerging artists and encourages work that is critically engaged within a wide range of contemporary discourse. Members hold curatorial control over the presentation of their work, organize events, and exchange with arts organizations in Canada and abroad, with past exhibitions in Halifax, Ottawa, Chicago and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Associate memberships support the gallery as a forum for dialogue and exchange about contemporary art practice, and as a community for networking and socializing.
