Riverside Avondale Preservation

Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP) is a historic preservation and community organization dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and celebrating the Riverside Avondale neighborhood in Jacksonville, Florida. RAP advocates for the neighborhood's historic fabric, unique architecture, local businesses, arts, and culture. The organization runs numerous community initiatives including the Riverside Arts Market, Luminaria festival, and placemaking and arts programs. RAP also serves as a resource for residents navigating historic district guidelines and Certificate of Appropriateness requirements for exterior renovations.
