An experimental research and pedagogy project exploring the choreographic through an expanded notion of school.
Rose Choreographic School is an experimental research and pedagogy project based at Sadler's Wells East in Stratford, London. A small Faculty of a Head and a Producer works para- and cross-institutionally with artists from all practices to pursue a postdisciplinary approach to the choreographic. Rather than following a set curriculum, the School invites an Artistic Cohort of researchers every two years to develop individual enquiries in dialogue with one another through regular Cohort Assemblies. It also produces public research output through the þ thorns þ podcast, the Thoughtographs interview series, and an evolving Glossary of choreographic terms.
