Sektor30

About

Sektor30 is a hive of artistic workshops in Neos Kosmos, Athens, that gives visual artists and other creators the facilities, technical know-how and space to make new work, experiment, and bring new materials and techniques into their practice. It houses two workshops: one for ceramics and sculpture, and one for printmaking and typography. The ceramics and sculpture workshop has facilities for ceramics, plaster and casting materials, with supporting equipment for woodworking and metalworking. The printmaking workshop offers letterpress, screen printing, intaglio, linocut and woodcut. Members pay a monthly subscription that gives them access to the shared workspace and equipment, technique-improvement seminars, technical expertise, and support for special projects. Sektor30 also runs workshops and collective projects, and hosts a year-round printmaking artist-in-residence program for artists from Greece and abroad.
