Sheepscot Arts Preserve

Sheepscot Arts Preserve is an artist residency center located on 42 acres bordering the Sheepscot River in Alna, Maine, dedicated to supporting Visionary, Outsider, and Narrative Artists across all disciplines. All residencies are offered free of charge to eliminate financial barriers for artists. The preserve especially encourages marginalized artists, self-taught artists, and those who defy easy categorization to participate in its programming. In addition to residencies, the center hosts workshops, pop-up shows, and community events, with a mission to bring together a diverse cross-section of artists at all career stages.
