Sheepshead Review is the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's journal of literature and art. It first went to print in 1975 as Sheepshead Revue, a nod to the Wisconsin card game, and was revived by students and faculty in 2003 after a four-year pause. The journal is published in print each late fall and spring by the Sheepshead Review Student Organization and the English 324 class. It features creative writing and visual art from UW-Green Bay students, faculty and creatives outside campus, and publishes new, emerging and established artists and writers from around the world. It has been printed in full color since 2007 to give visual artists' work the image quality it deserves.
