Society of Animal Artists

The Society of Animal Artists (SAA) is devoted to promoting excellence in the artistic portrayal of the creatures sharing our planet, and to the education of the public through art exhibitions, informative seminars, lectures, and teaching demonstrations. Its membership, past and present, represents artists from around the world who produce work depicting domesticated and wild animals. The SAA organizes an Annual Exhibition and a traveling exhibition, Art and the Animal, which have become standards by which such shows are measured. Many members support conservation causes through the ecological message of their artwork and through contributions from sales.
