SomoS is an arts organization in Berlin's Kreuzberg district that combines an international residency program with a public program of exhibitions and live events. Its residencies for artists, curators and researchers include artist, curatorial, virtual and embedded formats, and give residents live/work studios and a communal workspace. Residents join an international, intergenerational community with studio visits, artist meetings, discussions and events.
The program of exhibitions, performances and installations is largely free to attend and often features its resident artists and international group shows. SomoS also offers workshops and publishes a journal.
