SOPRA SOTTO

SOPRA SOTTO is a transdisciplinary art residency inspired by the Hermetic philosophy "as above, so below," exploring the interdependence between micro and macro, inner and outer worlds, and the individual and collective. Functioning as a living laboratory, it centers communal living, co-creation, and creative exchange as methods for examining regenerative ways of being. Each residency is shaped around changing themes — often co-developed with a collaborator — with a participatory, resident-driven workshop program. The residency welcomes interdisciplinary culture-shapers from all backgrounds, including artists, writers, researchers, musicians, and changemakers. Running since 2023, SOPRA SOTTO is evolving toward longer-term programs in Sardinia from late 2026.
