South Carolina Arts Commission

The South Carolina Arts Commission is the official state arts agency for South Carolina, distributing grant funding to communities and arts organizations across the state. In FY25 alone it awarded $12.5 million through 676 grants supporting arts opportunities and arts learning statewide. The commission also runs direct programs for individual artists, including fellowships, an Emerging Artists cohort, and an Artist Entrepreneur Incubator, alongside field-wide convenings like Creative Conversations. It works to connect South Carolinians with arts news, resources, and events happening throughout the state.
