The St. Charles Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to serve and promote the arts and cultural activities in St. Charles for the mutual benefit of artists and the community. It was formed in 2010 by members of the St. Charles Fine Art Show to bring more focus to the city's existing arts organizations. In February 2025 it opened the ARC (Arts Resource Center) in downtown St. Charles. The 1,800 square foot gallery showcases and sells work by local and regional artists. The council is led by a small staff team and a board of directors drawn from local cultural, civic and business organizations, and it is supported by community sponsors and donors.
